Foo Dogs-Pair

A pair of whimsical Chinese glazed pottery Feng Shui Foo dogs. Each dog sits on a raised rectangular platform. These foo dogs are highly animated with bulging eyes and lolling tongues. The male has a ball under his foot and the female has a cub. The food dogs have been richly gazed all over leaving an amazing lustre. The glaze is amazingly brilliant. This pair of Foo dogs is sold as a pair only and is $7000 AUD for the pair. They are in excellent condition for their age. Previous owner said they were ancient Chinese Foo dogs. One dog is male and one is female.
