Van Treight – French Style Rattan dining chairs

4 Van Treight mid century chairs are sold as a set and are not for individual sale. Each chair has ornate timber on the top back of seat, at the front and sides of the seat and on each leg. There is oodles of decorative detail all over the chairs. The seats have been reupholstered with Warrick teal fabric and finished with a decorative lemon trim. The yellow painted timber is original and has a natural beauty and patina. Each chair has aged with character. all the four chairs are sold as is. Chairs overall are in reasonable condition but there is wear and tear which is consistent with age. Chairs are stable but a couple maybe a little wiggly but still ok for use. Only a perfectionist would notice. Rattan is in good condition all chairs although they have individual patina. Chairs are sold as is. Sold as set of 4 chairs for $1200.

Van Treight was a mid century trader who designed and manufactured furniture in Australia with Scandinavian overtones. They sold through the department stores. They manufactured for the US market under Drexel furniture.

Four mid century, Van Treight French Style rattan dining chairs. Sold as is. Seats have been reupholstered in new teal Warrick fabric. Original patina in rattan and paint on timber frame. Intricate carved detail in timber frame on legs back and front and sides of chair. Prefer pick up due to delicacy of products. Sold as set of four chairs.
